i am not going to write too much, because i have a headache now. rather, i’ll let the pictures do the talking. i didn’t like the way the colours turned out so i converted most of them to black and white, after applying the ‘velvia’ effect. to see the rest, visit my flickr.
we were supposed to have a picnic on top of SADM today, watching the sun set while biting into baguettes. we ended up having it on the ground floor of SCI, amidst the stares of ridicule and may i be so bold to suggest, envy. come to think of it, the location was secondary to the fact that we had fun as a circle of friends. the food was decent, the interaction divine.
we did go to SADM after the ‘picnic’. somehow when darkness encompasses people, they feel an even stronger connection to each other. maybe this can be credited to the ‘disabling of sight’, our main instrument of confirmation, that creates a deeper level of intimacy and trust. the above has no scientific basis. just some hocus-pocus.
it was on top of SADM that mei fang announced her withdrawal from the school. turned out she was accepted to study psychology in UCL. i have to say that i was surprised at the response, or rather the lack of it. maybe we were tired, or maybe we were too shocked to say anything. whatever it is, i wish mei fang well.
