that dave hill look

i have to say that of late, i have been studying the work of dave hill and trying to figure out how he manages to create illustrative and almost painterly images with his photography.

after a period of experimentation, these are the best results i achieved. am going to keep refining the technique. watch this space.

i should be studying, really.

  5. Hi!

I think that you’re over sharpening / processing the images as your losing all quality in the skin tones.

If you look at Dave’s work all his images are crisp and clean.

    all the best!

these images were processed during a phase in which i was just trying out different techniques and i no longer use this kind of processing.
